Now your blog is all set up but what remains? Content, yes every blog needs content and without it, a blog is dead. How do you add content to a blog? Well you can do this by writing and publishing a new topic.
Your blog may be relatively new and may very well have no topic. What you need to do is consider the kind of blog you have and brainstorm to generate a new topic suited for your blog.
Things to consider when writing a new topic:
- Your blog's niche
- If it be a series or a single
- How knowledgeable you are on it
- How useful it is to blog readers
- How short or long your post will be
Writing your topic
Now you have already considered what the title on your new topic will be, you now need to go to your account and create the topic, if some other blogger has written about the same topic before, try to re-phrase it, give useful and unique content in your post and then review your post before publishing it online.
What I normally do when I want to write a very long blog post is to first write it on paper since this will help reduce the eye strain that comes from using computer for long, so writing on paper s good for long blog posts and then afterwards just type it fast on your computer.
Review your work:
You need to review your blog post and correct it for any errors and typos, add relevant links and images before publishing it. This will help add value and authority to your blog and gain respect from users.
Writing a new topic is one major obstacle bloggers face when it comes to blogging since it requires a lot of conceptual work before choosing on what to write on. Never copy work published on other websites and republish them as your own because search engines will eventually punish you for that. So no matter how little or much you are able to write, do it in your own words as everyone is unique.

Well, for a blog setup, you first of all need a website hosted with your web host. Then log into control panel and install your blog software. The more common blog software or platform is wordpress so you are more likely to see a wordpress installation button in your web hosting account
